What are Mahayana Buddhism's Scriptures?

Mahayana Buddhism's main Scriptures are Tipitaka (believed to be the teachings of the Buddha) and the Sutras (sacred texts). The most important Sutra is the Lotus Sutra.

The three texts that Mahayana Buddhists use in addition to Tripitika are:

1. PRAJNA PARIMITA - Perfection of Wisdom
2. LOTUS SUTRA - True Doctrines

3. VIMALA KIRTI - The name of a person
4. SUKHA VATI - Land of purity or happiness
