Who Started Hinduism & When?
Unlike many other religions, Hinduism cannot be credited with one major founder. Hinduism is said to have thousands of different religious groups getting their start sometime between 4000 and 2500 BCE. There are over 800 million Hindus today, mainly in India, Sri Lanka and Nepal.
